Dean Levin, carries with him 40 years of hands-on experience in the fields of sales, marketing, strategic planning, business turnarounds, crisis management and new product launches. Over the last 30 years, Dean has created a number of extremely successful consumer products, and also created and delivered marketing strategies for many highly successful product launches.
With IdeaKings, Dean returns to creating new products for the mass market, direct sales and infomercial channels. His ability to transform ideas and concepts into innovative strategies and products are well known. In 2002, he created the concept behind the highly successful consumer blender product now known as “The Magic Bullet” which has generated sales in excess of $950 million.
In 2009, Dean developed, packaged and serve as Co-Executive producer for a prime time show featuring Dr. John Gray, (relationship author of “Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus” with global book sales exceeding 50 million) on Public Television. Dean and John share a twelve-year business partnership, which has resulted in millions of dollars in sales via several healthy and effective consumable continuity products. In the mid 2000’s, Dean partnered with and facilitated a new infomercial for billion dollar salesperson Jay Kordich, aka “The Juice Man”. He then facilitated the manufacturing and production of multiple viable consumer products for a ten year old direct sales company with sales in excess of $400 million.
Dean has served as a corporate officer of various businesses, including an insolvent publicly-traded retail organization which was converted to a profitable operating entity. He has manufactured and distributed numerous food product lines in the snack, health food and grocery distribution channels (i.e. Trader Joes and Albertsons), and has established regional, national and international sales networks in the highly competitive agriculture, environmental, housewares and electronics industries.
Gregg Davis, is a gifted business development and finance executive with over 25 years experience in the small- and micro-cap markets in the United States and Europe. Since 2001 he has worked as Executive VP of CorpHQ Inc. a publicly-traded business incubator and as Principal of the venture firm Tandem Ventures, where he managed stock trading and the firm’s investment portfolio.
During that time Gregg also advised portfolio company management in a number of critical areas including building sales teams, developing business prospects and investor relations. He was also instrumental in launching portfolio company Safeguard Technology International, Inc.
In the mid to late 1990’s, Gregg was a partner with Source Capital Partners, a boutique investment firm, which specialized in equity investments in public companies, private placements and investor relations campaigns. Prior to that he placed IPO and private placement funding for regional brokerage firm Chatfield Dean, where he successfully created a network of investors in ten countries. Gregg previously owned and operated the worldwide licensing for Roller Hockey International, signing 85 major licensees with guarantees of over $2 million.
Gregg graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He is passionate about health, fitness and nutrition, loves travel and is a lifelong fan of the New York Jets football team.
